The duration of the tour is 12 hours.
You will be picked up from your hotel/airport early in the morning, transferred to Istanbul Airport and directed to the airport to catch your flight to Izmir. Upon your arrival in Izmir, we will meet you and transfer you to Selçuk.
Today, we will focus on the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the twelve cities of the Ionian Alliance in classical Greece. Ephesus was also one of the “Seven Churches of Anatolia” mentioned in the Book of Revelation. We will visit the ancient Greco-Roman city of Ephesus, the Marble Street, the Odeon, the Bouleterion, the Temple of Hadrian and Serapis, the Agora, the Library of Celcus, the Great Theater, the Double Church, the Arcadian Way and the Gate of Magnesia. We will stop for lunch in Selçuk and Mount Solmissos, home of the Virgin Mary. We will also visit the Isabey Mosque, one of the oldest and most impressive architectural monuments from the Anatolian Principalities, and the Temple of Artemis, one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World”.
At the end of the program, there will be a transfer to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport for the evening flight. After your flight from Izmir to Istanbul, you will be transferred to your hotel/airport in Istanbul.
